2014 Executive Administrator Award—Greg Lang

Dr. Lang’s healthcare career spans 30 years, with roles ranging from being a therapist, to developing national preferred provider networks, leading an electronic medical records product design team, managing brain injury rehabilitation programs and also by serving as a clinical adviser to an international investment company that specialized in the acquisitions of small healthcare IT companies. He is a six-time New York Times best-selling author and has written more than 30 books which have sold over 3.5 million copies. He is an active member of the Georgia Charitable Care Network and speaks throughout Georgia advocating for the healthcare needs of the less fortunate and uninsured.

Dr. Lang now serves as the Executive Director of Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett. Under his leadership, the organization has gone from one of financial difficulty and operational inefficiencies to a very effective and sound nonprofit. He has done this by strengthening collaborations and ties within the community with business leaders and medical constituents. Two big projects he is currently working on is the relocation to a larger facility and to expand and enhance Good Samaritan’s services to include the area’s only full-time charity dental clinic. With his grit and determination and most importantly, his compassion, we look forward to what the future will hold.
